The 2022 Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia season comes down to the streets of Surfers Paradise this weekend, and Harri Jones arrives with the championship lead.
Jones leads the standings by 74 points, with 181 points available across the weekend.
There has been no rest since Bathurst, but the Gold Coast is home turf. Jones lives about two kilometres from the circuit and made his Carrera Cup debut here in 2019, so he knows the track well.
He describes the circuit as "tight, technical and requires huge commitment", a place where consistent lap times count.
As well as the championship, Jones and McElrea Racing are chasing the Endurance Championship in Sunday morning's enduro.
Jones said he is looking forward to the final round and trusts himself and his team to get the job done.
All sessions will be shown live on Fox Sports 506 and Kayo, with Saturday and Sunday also on Channel 7.
