Hunter Robb and Jones Motorsport started the 2026 Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia in the best possible way, winning the opening round at Phillip Island.

First win from pole

Robb converted pole position into his first Sprint Challenge race win on Saturday. He made the best start in greasy conditions and led every lap of the 30-minute race, finishing ahead of Kamal Mrad and Lincoln Taylor.

Two from two

He won again in the safety car-affected second race, this time from Taylor and Mrad.

Enough for the round

Race three was harder. Contact with Taylor at turn one spun Robb around, and he pitted before recovering to 10th in the Pro class. That was still enough for the round win ahead of Mrad and Xavier Avramides, and Robb left Phillip Island leading the championship.
