Harri Jones took a clean sweep of Round 3 of the 2026 Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia at Queensland Raceway, winning both races to stretch his championship lead.

The McElrea Racing driver started Saturday's 45-minute opener from second on the grid, behind polesitter Tom Bewley. Bewley suffered a clutch issue off the line, and Jones made the most of it to lead the opening lap.

An early safety car was called when Dylan O'Keeffe stopped with a fluid leak at Turn 6. Tom McLennan and Diesel Thomas also had sizeable contact with the outside wall, though both walked away.

After the restart Jones controlled the pace, set his fastest lap on the penultimate lap and was never seriously challenged. He won by close to two seconds, his third straight race win at the Ipswich circuit.

Aaron Love finished second, ahead of David Russell, McElrea team-mate Lachlan Bloxsom and Clay Osborne.

Sunday's race followed the same script. Jones led from start to finish and crossed the line 3.5 seconds ahead of Osborne, with Russell third. O'Keeffe, Jake Santalucia, Josh Thomas, Angelo Mouzouris, Marcos Flack, Ryan Casha and McElrea's Daniel Quimby completed the top 10.

Bloxsom's race ended early after he was turned around at Turn 3 on the opening lap and hit by several cars, causing the only safety car of the race. Bewley, who failed to finish on Saturday, was given a 15-second penalty for contact that spun Love at Turn 6 on lap 11.

Jones won the round from Osborne and Russell, and left Ipswich leading the championship by 56 points over Osborne.

In the Tech Specialist Pro-Am class, Andrew Georgiadis took his maiden race win on Sunday and the round, with Liam Talbot winning Saturday's race.

The series heads to The Bend Motorsport Park for Round 4 from 11 to 13 September.
