Ramu Farrell wrote himself into the Porsche Motorsport Australia record books at round three of the 2025 Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge at Queensland Raceway.
Outright pole
Qualifying ran on a wet but drying circuit and was cut to less than 10 minutes by several red flags. Farrell came out fastest, taking pole outright as well as in Pro-Am, ahead of Willie Exton and Tom Bewley.
A first in the Pro-Am era
Farrell made the best start of the 30-minute opening race and led every lap, holding off Exton and then Jake Santalucia. The win made him the first driver in the current Pro and Pro-Am era to win a race outright as a Pro-Am driver.
It was also the first race win for Jones Motorsport.
Two from three
Farrell did it again in race two, leading throughout to win ahead of Santalucia. He finished sixth in the longer Jim Richards Enduro, which Santalucia won.
Hunter Robb finished eighth and sixth in the first two races before stopping midway through the Enduro. Andrew Georgiadis was fourth in Pro-Am in race one.
